Overview
US Oncology is the nation's largest health-care services network devoted exclusively to cancer treatment and research, and a pioneer in community-based cancer care. Today, our network of over 1000 affiliated physicians delivers care to more than half a million cancer patients each year.
Building upon our network of more than 440 sites of services, including over 90 cancer centers and radiation facilities, in 39 states, we ensure the latest technology and treatment advances at the local level. Our mission: "To increase access to and advance the delivery of high quality cancer care in America."
We are accelerating the pace of cancer research by accruing patients to clinical trials, allowing more patients to have access to new therapies. We are bringing state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment technologies to local towns and cities. We are leveraging economies-of-scale to reduce health-care costs. And we are working with patient advocacy groups to drive public-policy efforts.
Putting it simply, we are a strong force in the war on cancer, employing our nationwide resources to fight cancer in every way possible. In doing so, we are driving an innovative new services model and helping oncologists deliver the best possible care.
