Lifetime Care was founded in 1960 (as Genesee Region Home Care). We took the name Lifetime Care in 2005 following the merger of Genesee Region Home Care and ViaHealth Home Care. Lifetime Care is a not-for-profit organization governed by a community-based board of directors that is recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
The Lifetime Healthcare Companies have been providing health insurance and health care services for nearly 70 years. We currently deliver medical care, home health care and hospice services to more than 175,000 people each year in the Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse and Utica communities.
