National Patient Account Services (NPAS) began operations as the Central Collections Department (CCD) in 1980 performing collections for 18 medical facilities. Over the years, NPAS has grown to provide customer service focused collections for some 220 hospitals nationwide. As a part of HCA, the largest healthcare provider in the United States, and the ninth largest employer, NPAS performs collections for HCA Hospitals and Lifepoint hospitals. Currently, NPAS has locations in Louisville, KY and Bedford, TX with over 700 employees. We handle various types of accounts, including private parties, commercial insurance, workers compensation, champus and HMO.
