LifeCare Hospitals of Mechanicsburg is a 68-bed, specialty acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission and Medicare certified. We have a medical staff of more than 200 physicians, including a 24-hour in-house pulmonary team.
Our hospitals specialize in the treatment of medically complex patients who require extended hospitalization. Many patients are transferred to LifeCare after a stay in an intensive care unit and have often experienced multiple system failures.
