Apex Systems, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Brian Callaghan, Win Sheridan and Jeff Veatch, three friends who met at Virginia Tech. They were inspired to start Apex for three main reasons – to treat job seekers better, to provide a better service for companies, and to build a company where the best recruiters and sales staff would want to work. The Founders felt too many recruiters weren’t treating job seekers the right way. They failed to return calls. They didn’t give closure. They misrepresented the job. Some even came across as sleazy. It was a frustrating perception of the staffing industry, so they set out to change it. Believing that relationships and trust should be the foundation of the Apex service model, the Founders pledged to only hire the most motivated, friendly, and capable staff. People committed to excellence in all they do and go above and beyond to meet the needs of others. The Founders established strong core values of doing the right thing, making others better, finding a better way to get the job done and setting the professional standard. These are the guiding principles that Apex employees use to provide the highest level of service to customers and contract employees.
Our AbilitiesApex employs hundreds of Recruiters and Account Managers to find you people and make sure that everything runs smoothly. We have branch locations from coast-to-coast, and a National Recruiting Center designed to assist with requests. Our database of candidates is more than 1.5 million strong, and growing. We dedicate staff to high-volume customers, as well as to the most in-demand skills (Java, .NET, SAP, project managers, etc.).
Our ProcessGive us some time up front and we’ll get you the right fit. Candidates are thoroughly screened using interviews, reference checking, and skills testing. We can provide you candidates within 24 hours. We provide drug screening, background checks, and credit checks upon request.
