Requirements

Night Crew Stocking Manager(Night Crew Head Clerk), is an entry level position within King Soopers. Some of the qualifications for the position consist of, but are not limited to the following:


Skills:

  • Demonstrate the ability and desire to promote, communicate and implement companyinitiatives and process improvements to direct reports in a positive manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people and organize workloads.

  • Engage yourself and counsel associates in effective, productive merchandising techniques, customer services, product presentation, and promotional activities.
  • Follow through on implementation of company programs and adherence to company policies and procedures, particularly in the areas of dress code, grooming, safety and sanitation.
  • Possess abilities and skills for effective production, merchandising  and customer services related to sale of merchandise.
  • Willing and able to embrace company initiatives and enthusiastically communicate the plan to associates.
  • Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities properly and safely in accordance with company policies and procedures. Maintain floor, shelf and Home areas clean and up to sanitary standards.
  • Qualified and able to operate power machinery and work with various job tools such as pallet jacks, box cutters, label guns, balers, compactors, etc.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule-- overnight hours
  • Must be able to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, twist, and walk for the duration of each day’s scheduled work shift.
  • Must be able to lift and handle all supply items and merchandise available for sale.
  • Able to adapt to sudden temperature changes and extreme weather conditions.
  • Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform all essential functions of the job.
  • This position requires you to be a working manager with knowledge of how to properly stock product in a grocery store setting.
  • Retail management a plus, but managing experience in another environment may also be considered.
  • Managing a crew of approximately 10-15 individuals while monitoring and controlling expenses to gain profit dollars.
  • Job duties include stocking and maintaining proper stock conditions in our grocery departments.
  • Must be able to provide customer service.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         Ability to handle stressful situations

·         Effective oral and written communication skills

·         Knowledge of basic math

·         Ability to be flexible

·         Retail stocking experience

·         Must have 2 years of previous management experience.

Desired Previous Job Experience
