Compensation: $50,727.99 to $65,000.00 per year
Our client, a quickly growing multi-media company seeks a senior accountant to supervise several staff accountants. Job Description:
Managing and reviewing the cash receipt and application process for all incoming checks, ACHs and Wire transfers;
•Analyzing cash and credit card reports to ensure proper allocation;
•Reviewing daily and/or monthly reconciliations and journal entries and performing account analysis as required for posting;
•Assisting with month-end close processes and completion of related balance sheet reconciliations;
•Reviewing and supervising the completion of invoice cancellations and refunds;
•Managing cash deposits and monthly bank reconciliations;
•Maintaining various financial schedules and coordinating results to external departments;
•Assisting in the development and ongoing compliance of internal policies and procedures;
•Interacting with external financial auditors and providing necessary supporting documentation to facilitate annual audits;
•Supervising and mentoring staff accountants;
•Supporting the Accounting Manager with projects and/or other duties as assigned;
•Completing various ad-hoc requests on an as needed basis.
Job Requirements
-Must have bachelors degree in accounting
•Must have some exposure to Accounts Payable
•Must have 3+ years hands on accounting
•Supervisory experience preferred
