It's simple. We are part of this community, in partnership with our neighbors.

Paradise Valley Hospital opened its doors in 1983 when its location, 3929 E. Bell Road, in Northeast Phoenix was considered far north of the city's core. Today, the Valley has grown tremendously and Paradise Valley Hospital is surrounded by homes and businesses.

Patients are cared for in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. Our services not only focus on the treatment of existing conditions, but also on preventive medicine for the entire family.

Paradise Valley Hospital is part of Vanguard Health Systems. In addition to Paradise Valley Hospital, locally Vanguard Health Systems includes Phoenix Baptist Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix Memorial Hospital, Maryvale Hospital Medical Center, Arrowhead Community Hospital and Medical Center, and the new West Valley Medical Center. Vanguard also owns and operates five TMC Advanced Imaging Centers and the Phoenix Health Plan (a Medicaid AHCCCS plan). Vanguard Health System was founded in 1997, and currently owns and operates nine acute-care hospitals in Arizona, California and Illinois, comprising 1,875 beds. As part of this partner ship, we have adopted initiatives designed to make life healthier, simpler and less intimidating.
