AAA Auto Club South was established as a Florida corporation in 1938 and now covers the areas of Florida, Georgia, the western two-thirds of Tennessee and Puerto Rico. The primary purpose of AAA is to protect the interest of the motoring public and provide travel-related services for its members. The Club emphasizes the improvement in motoring and travel conditions in the areas of safety, highway, legislation and taxation. The Club provides personal, specialized services to members through emergency road service, individual automobile routings, travel information, travel agency assistance, new car buying discounts, insurance counseling, and a wide range of other member services.
