The Brown Mackie College system is affiliated with parent company Education Management Corporation (www.edmc.edu). EDMC is amongst the largest providers of public post-secondary education in North America, based on student enrollment and revenue, with over 136,000 students as of fall 2009 at 97 primary campus locations in 30 states and two Canadian provinces. EDMC's education institutions offer a broad range of academic programs in the media arts, design, fashion, culinary arts, behavioral sciences, health sciences, education, information technology and business, culminating in the award of associate's through doctoral degrees. This system of schools was renamed Brown Mackie College in November 2004, and includes the schools formerly known as Southern Ohio College in Ohio and Kentucky; Asher School of Business in Georgia; Commonwealth Business College in Indiana and Illinois; Michiana College in Indiana; RETS Institute of Technology in Kentucky and Pennsylvania; RETS Medical and Business Institute in Kentucky; and AEC Texas Institute.
