Richmond Magazine Names Apex Systems a “Great Place to Work”

RICHMOND, VA April 2005—Apex Systems, Inc., a national technology staffing firm, was named one of 15 “Great Places to Work” in the Richmond metro area by Richmond Magazine. This kind of exposure serves as a boon to the firm’s internal recruiting efforts, the goals of which have doubled in the last year alone.

“We’ve been experiencing unprecedented growth in the last several years, especially with our internal staff. We’ve had to ramp up our internal hiring goals in order to accommodate that growth, so being featured as one of Richmond’s Great Places to Work is a huge plus when working to attract new talent for our Richmond branch,” said Brian Callaghan, CEO of Apex Systems.

The listing featured companies whose perks were as unique as they were generous. Certain companies provided their employees such distinctive benefits as Bring Your Dog to Work Fridays and yoga classes during lunch hours, aside from medical coverage, retirement packages, etc. For Apex, it was the annual holiday party held in Washington DC.
