The Toufayan family has been a leader in the commercial baking industry for over eighty-three years. We take pride in being a traditional, quality-driven, family-run business that responds to a changing market with new ideas in product and merchandising.

Growing to meet today's market needs

The first Toufayan Bakery in the United States was a store front in West New York, New Jersey. When Toufayan Pita bread was introduced into area supermarkets, sales sky-rocketed. This rapid growth prompted the construction of a fully automated bakery in North Bergen. Then in 2002 we moved to a larger bakery in Ridgefield, NJ. The largest Pita Bread bakery in the Metro-NY area.

Over the years, Toufayan has been a leader, and an innovator in the industry. Toufayan was the first to add new flavor varieties to Pita bread including, Onion, Whole Wheat, Cinnamon Raisin, Sesame, Multigrain and Thin Style Pita. Salt Free and Oat Bran are the latest additions to the line.

To satisfy the growing demand for new bread nationally, a second plant was opened in 1987 in Orlando, Florida. This state-of-the-art facility also enabled Toufayan to diversify into new exciting lines of baked goods. Toufayan now offers an extensive line of baked goods including Crispy breadsticks and Snuggles, with delivery to markets all across the country.

We are very excited to announce our 3rd and latest bakery in Plant City, Florida. Our newest bakery is manufacturing cookies. The sweetest addition to the Toufayan Bakery Line.
