Inpatient Rehabilitation
At HealthSouth inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, we provide the level of care necessary to manage a patient's care after an injury or illness and enhance their quality of life upon discharge from a traditional acute care setting. Our dedicated team of physicians, nurses, therapists and hospital support staff is committed to providing safe, quality and cost-effective care to each and every patient.

Outpatient Rehabilitation
HealthSouth’s outpatient rehabilitation satellites are an extension of the care provided by our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, designed to return patients to their maximum ability and independence as quickly and safely as possible.

Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals
HealthSouth's long-term acute care hospitals (LTCH) specialize in managing the complex medical care and rehabilitation of patients with multiple acute healthcare needs. Programs are designed to medically stabilize and strengthen patients so they can return to their highest level of function.

Home Health
HealthSouth's home health programs provide skilled nursing and therapeutic services, such as physical, occupational or speech therapy, medical social services in the comfort of a patient’s home as they are able to help them resume their activities of daily living as safely as possible.

Medical Insurance Plan
HealthSouth sponsors a comprehensive medical plan. Employees are eligible to participate on the first day of employment. Dependent coverage is also available.

Dental Insurance Plan
The dental coverage begins on the first day of employment. The plan provides comprehensive dental coverage and is available for your dependents.

Vision Plan
HealthSouth sponsors a vision plan that includes coverage for vision examinations, lenses and frames.

HealthCare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account
The plans allow employees to set money aside, tax-free, through payroll deductions to pay eligible healthcare and dependent
care expenses.

HealthSouth Basic Life Insurance Plan
Basic Term Life Insurance is provided to employees. The plan premiums are paid by HealthSouth.

HealthSouth Optional Life Insurance Plans
Additional Life Insurance is available in generous increments for HealthSouth employees. The Additional Life Insurance Plans include Group Universal Life Insurance, Dependent Life Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance.

Disability Insurance Plans
HealthSouth offers both Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability benefit plans. The plans will provide partial-income replacement for employees who are unable to work due to illness, pregnancy or injury.

HealthSouth Retirement Investment Plan/401(k) Plan
The plan is a qualified 401(k) Plan. The plan allows employees to contribute a portion of their pay on a pre-tax basis into their
own accounts within the retirement plan. The company provides a competitive match. Investment options include a diverse group of mutual funds.

College Savings (529 plan)
The plan enables participants to use after-tax money to fund a college savings account for a child.

Pre-Paid Legal Services
This plan provides fully covered legal advice and assistance for most personal legal matters.

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program provides access to counselors, crisis intervention and community resource referrals. HealthSouth provides this plan to employees at no cost.
