401(k) Plan
Full-time employees are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) plan with Principal Financial Group during the first open enrollment period after one year of service. Open enrollment periods occur each fiscal quarter. Employees may contribute up to 15% of their annual earnings on a tax-deferred basis. Sunbelt will match 50 cents for every dollar put in, up to the first 6% of employee's annual earnings.
Training and Development
Sunbelt Rentals is committed to keeping all of our employees at the top of their field through ongoing education. Our company provides instructor-led classes at our state-of-the-art National Training Center, online classes at Sunbelt University, and relevant training topics at every Sunbelt Rentals location.
Health and Dental Insurance
Sunbelt Rentals offers Health Insurance Coverage through Primary Physician Care. Full-time employees are eligible for the Health Insurance coverage on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Premium contributions are taken from each paycheck before taxes are withheld.
Vision
Sunbelt offers Vision coverage in the form of $100 per plan participant to be used for the purchase of contact lens and eyeglasses. Discounts on eyewear are available in the optical departments of over 3,500 stores, including Sears, Target Optical, JC Penny, Pearle Vision, and more through Express Scripts.
Disability Insurance
Short-term (STD) and Long-term (LTD) benefits are available to all full-time employees on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Both STD and LTD are administered by Jefferson Pilot. Under Sunbelt Rentals' STD plan, employees who are disabled will receive 60% of the base salary (plus up to 10 hours a week of overtime) for up to 12 weeks starting on the 15th day following the onset of the disability.
Life Insurance
Sunbelt Rentals provides Basic Life Insurance and AD&D coverage of one times base salary to all full-time employees. You can purchase additional term life insurance. Rates are based on age and smoking status. Sunbelt Rentals also provides dependent coverage of $10,000 per child at $0.92 per pay period.
Travel Insurance
Sunbelt Rentals
also offers travel insurance to full-time employees. Travel insurance is an additional form of Life Insurance that is paid should an employee suffer a fatal accident while traveling for the company. Employees become eligible for this plan on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
Flexible Benefits
We offer flexible spending accounts through ProBenefits, allowing employees to set aside pre-tax dollars for qualified medical and/or childcare expenses.
Direct Deposit
Sunbelt Rentals
also offers a direct deposit program that deposits employees' net pay directly into their bank accounts. Instead of receiving a paycheck, employees receive an earnings statement of deposit.
Holidays / Vacation
Sunbelt Rentals observes approximately eight paid holidays each year. Additionally, vacation time ranges from one week for first year employees to three weeks for employees who have served six plus years.
