Each day, more than 600 dedicated educators, therapists, residential care workers, and administrators at Holy Family Institute work with children and families desperately in need of an opportunity. They come to us in search of a chance to heal, to feel safe, to believe in themselves and in the goodness of God and humanity.

Transition to Success Program
Success in school is a critical factor in the happiness and self-esteem of a child. Holy Family Learning, a division of Holy Family Institute, provides specialized educational services to help children achieve academic success. Holy Family is a recognized leader in specialized education, serving students from more than 70 school districts throughout Pennsylvania. Holy Family also provides adults with the training they need to support young people who are struggling in school.
Holy Family Learning provides
- Alternative education for young people whose behavior is a primary factor in their failure to achieve in-school potential
- Special education in day schools for children with learning issues
- Cognitive retraining for individuals with cognitive learning disorders
- Contract services to school districts that need specialized teachers or counselors
Holy Family provides cognitive retraining through the Institute for Learning Abilities. Retraining is based on the Bellefonds Method, a technique developed by European neuroscientists. The Institute for Learning Abilities also conducts cognitive retraining research and offers diagnostic services and Bellefonds Method training for parents and professional educators.
The goal of Holy Family Learning is to give students the educational resources and therapeutic environment they need to return to their home school district or regular classroom.
