CMS Mid-Atlantic, Chairman and CEO Bernard Stoecklein had been in the cemetery business for more than 35 years, first as a salesman for his father’s company, CMS West, and eventually becoming its co-owner in 1978. Under Mr. Stoecklein’s leadership, CMS West grew to become one of the largest privately held cemetery and funeral home companies in the northeast. In 1997, he sold CMS West to pursue new dreams. Building upon the success of CMS West and his experience, Mr. Stoecklein realized his dreams by founding CMS Mid-Atlantic, Inc., in 1997.

With his family roots in the cemetery business for more than half a century, Mr. Stoecklein and his team have learned what it takes to be successful in the industry.
