Honda believes that quality communities are just as important as quality products. That's why since 1979, Honda of America associates have worked to build quality products for their customers. But that commitment and dedication doesn't stay inside the walls of the manufacturing facilities. You can tell by their involvement that Honda associates take pride in the communities in which they live.

Manufacturing

Honda operations utilize high-tech equipment and the best associates in the manufacturing industry to manufacture products that exceed our customers' expectations.

In Ohio, the company operates five manufacturing plants that produce engines, transmissions, motorcycles, cars and light trucks. Select one of the facilities to the left to learn more about these world-class facilities.

Building products where they are sold has long been a philosophy of Honda. To achieve this, the company builds manufacturing facilities in countries where it has established a market. This accomplishes two things. First, the production facilities provide jobs to associates and domestic suppliers and helps build communities. Further, localized production allows Honda to better understand customer needs in the market, and then design and build products that exceed the customers' expectations in that region.
