Clinical Trials Support Services (CTSS), the founding operation, was established in 1991 in the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. CTSS purchased ClinForce, formerly I.E. Associates, in 1997, and subsequently purchased Temporary Tech in 1998, which serviced industrial, environmental, and academic labs throughout North Carolina. These acquisitions expanded the national delivery capabilities of the company and led to additional expertise in the pre-clinical and scientific disciplines. The group rebranded as ClinForce in April of 2000.
