Benefits

When you join Ameriprise Financial as a financial advisor, you have your choice of two very distinct career paths. Both offer you a high level of challenge, and excellent rewards. Which direction you take is up to you. Employee Financial Advisor As a company employee, you receive greater structure, as well as competitive compensation that includes draw plus commission-based bonuses, paid expenses, generous benefits, and extensive training. Independent Financial Advisor As a self-employed franchise owner you manage your practice independently. Working under the company name, you earn income from commissions, with a higher payout and the flexibility to manage your expenses. Qualifications: • Marketing and sales know-how • Natural interpersonal, people, and communication skills • Strong analytical abilities • Self-confidence, persistence, initiative, and persuasiveness—inspire others to action • Entrepreneurial perspective and zeal for learning • Required federal and state licenses and registrations for securities—Series 7, Series 63 or Series 66, and state life, accident and health insurance licenses. If you’re not licensed, you’ll have the opportunity to become fully licensed under Ameriprise Financial sponsorship. • Four-year college degree preferred Ameriprise Financial Services cannot hire individuals into the financial advisor position who are not legally authorized to work in the United States or who require or will require sponsorship for employment visa status.
