Careers

Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute (LRRI) is seeking a Program Cost Analyst II who under limited supervision will perform project estimating services associated with grants and contracts. The individual in this role will support the Institute departments to ensure appropriate cost estimating procedures are employed in accordance with Institute policies and Federal regulations. Position requires Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance and 2-4 years of directly related experience or equivalent combination of directly related education and experience using a computerized project cost estimating system and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Project). Prior cost analyst experience in support of Federal programs is required. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) experience is preferred. Must be highly proficient with MS Office applications. Database management and SharePoint experience highly desirable. Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations in the preparation of cost estimates and internal reports and apply cost accounting principles in cost proposal preparation. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with scientific, administrative and management personnel required. Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments. Prefer experience with Cost Point and ProPricer computer software. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to efficiently perform and meet deadlines required.
