Our deep commitment to the families we serve, community involvement, and high-quality early education are some of the many reasons why so many early education professionals have chosen to join the Children of America family.
Established in 1999, Children of America has grown to be one of the nation's most respected childcare organizations providing early childhood education and development programs.
Our “exclusive curriculum” developed by Dr. Vicki Folds, one of the nation’s experts in child development, is one-of-a- kind and focuses on the development of the total child – physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. We provide a safe, nurturing, learning-friendly environment
in which infants and children can develop to their full potential. Further, we recognize that each child is unique, with talents, abilities, interests, and needs unlike any other.
Our staff members understand and respect this individuality, and are dedicated to fostering self-esteem and self-awareness. We at Children of America strongly believe in providing stimulating curricula and enriching, individualized experiences in order to promote the academic and social development of each child.

Children of America, is a place where learning comes alive and children thrive. Innovation and creativity are the hallmarks of our teaching and the foundation of our infrastructure. We know the early years are critical in helping children build a solid appreciation for education so we ignite the imagination of each child with our proprietary curriculum developed by Dr. Vicki Folds, one of the nation’s leading child development experts with 35 years of hands-on research and experience.
"Our goal is to help all children foster their "I am" which helps foster their ‘I can’ that helps them to succeed," Teachers, work under the "I am" philosophy to promote each child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. The approach concentrates on allowing each child to learn through their own creativity and self-reliance, while laying the foundation for reading, writing and logical thinking.
Other unique educational activities offered at Children of America include baby sign language for infants, Spanish language lessons for preschool age children and Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS), a comprehensive assessment of young children’s knowledge of important literacy fundamentals.
Parent Engagement
Parent engagement is critical to the development of every child and should extend from the classroom to the kitchen table. Children of America’ works with parents as partners giving every child opportunities that can make a difference. As partners we encourage parent involvement, particularly
as a classroom or as a field-trip volunteer. We know how much it means for parents to put their trust in us and we promise to earn that trust every day, and to honor the uniqueness of each child.
Safeguarding Your Child
Children of America childcare centers are designed with children in mind offering parents added assurance by utilizing state-of-the-art security systems, numerous safeguarding programs and staffing First Aid and CPR certified teachers.
A Personal Identification Number (PIN), a code unique to each parent, which signals his or her child’s arrival or departure, tracks access into the building. Beyond the center’s borders, parents are just a click away from their children. By logging on to Children of America’s Internet access program, AlwaysCloseBy.com, they can view their child’s daily activities via streaming video on the Web.
