Since then, Frontier has grown to be the second largest carrier of Denver International Airport, with an average of 250 daily system-wide departures and arrivals serving 24 of the top 25 destinations from Denver, as determined by the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Frontier packing 'em in
By Rocky Mountain News
October 4, 2007
Frontier Airlines said its passenger traffic rocketed 26 percent in September compared with the same time last year, as it continued to see strong demand after a solid summer.
The spike far outpaced a 9.4 percent rise in capacity, meaning Frontier's planes were fuller this September than a year earlier.
The Denver-based carrier's load factor — a measure of occupancy — soared 10.3 percentage points to finish the month at 77.9 percent. It was the carrier's highest load factor ever for the month.
