Convergys cares about the health and well-being of our employees. Our benefits plans reflect this and offer our employees competitive options. This summary provides a general overview of many of our plans.

  • Protecting you Health

    We are committed to providing quality healthcare benefits that are affordable for employees and the company. Medical options may include an Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) plan or Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) plan and/or a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan with a Healthcare Reimbursement Account (HRA) or Healthcare Savings Account (HSA).

    For dental coverage, options include a base and comprehensive plan. A vision care plan is available for expenses associated with routine eye examinations, contact lenses and glasses.


  • Insuring your Life and Income

    Convergys provides basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to eligible employees.

    Eligible employees whose illness or disability extends beyond seven calendar days are provided with benefits under our disability plan.

  • Balancing your Life and Work

    Convergys also offers Reimbursement Accounts. These accounts allow employees to contribute money on a before-tax basis to cover eligible expenses. There are two accounts:

    - The Health Care Account for health care expense for employees and dependents and/or Dependent Care Account for child care expenses employees incur while at work.

    - The Lifebalance (Employee Assistance) Program provides Convergys employees, at no cost, the program to help manage the demand of everyday life. Assistance includes: Consultations, Referrals, and Educational Services.

    Convergys also offers Paid Time Off (PTO). Paid time off includes vacation days as well as personal days. PTO eligibility per year depends solely on employees’ length of service. Convergys also recognizes seven company holidays for eligible employees.

    Convergys is committed to employees’ personal development and in addition offers a Tuition Reimbursement Plan. Employees are encouraged to further their education at any accredited institution.

  • Saving for the Future

    Convergys offers three Savings plans:

    Retirement and Savings Plan
    Retirement Savings Plan - Employees may participate in this plan by electing to contribute up to 50% of their pay, not to exceed IRS limits, to a pre-tax 401(k) plan. After one year of service, Convergys will match 100% of each before-tax dollar contributed up to 5% of pay per pay period.

    Employee Stock Purchase Plan
    Employees may purchase Convergys common shares by electing to contribute up to 20 percent of their pay through after-tax payroll deduction. Convergys will match 15 percent of employees' contributions toward share purchases.
