Located in Roseburg, Oregon, (pop. 20,000), Mercy Medical Center is a Trauma III 153-bed facility serving most of Douglas County (pop. 100,000). In addition to Mercy Medical Center, Roseburg is served by the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. For the sixth year in a row, Mercy Medical Center is included in Oregon Business Magazine’s "Top 100 Companies to Work for in Oregon."

Benefits Mercy is not only about mission, values and accomplishment. We know that employees must be respected and treated well if we are to expect their best. That's why we offer competitive salaries, and excellent benefit packages. Included in the benefits package are: Earned Leave Plan: Mercy removes the accrual distinction between vacation, holiday and short term sick time. This enables employees to plan time off more effectively to meet both their needs and the staffing needs of their departments. It also provides special reward for employees who work holidays and provides an adequate amount of time off for illness. Employees accrue a minimum of 23 days of earned leave annually, with five day increases for each five additional years service, up to a maximum of 33 days annually. Flexible Health & Dental Plans: Mercy pays the majority of the health and dental premiums for both employee and dependent coverage. You may elect to pay health and dental premiums on a pre-tax basis through the Section 125 Cafeteria Plan as another component of the flexible benefits program. Employee Discounts: Discounts for Medical Services, and the cafeteria are provided to you as an employee of Mercy. Retirement: Mercy believes planning for a secure retirement is a shared responsibility. Building a strong personal savings is your share of retirement planning. One good option is by participating in a tax-sheltered annuity such as those offered through Mercy Medical Center. Mercy participates in developing your retirement income source by making yearly contributions to a retirement plan for participating employees. Life Insurance: Full-time and part-time employees may enroll at no cost for term life insurance. You may purchase additional coverage through payroll deductions. Benefits will vary slightly depending upon which of Mercy Medical Center's entities you are employed by. Area: Roseburg Oregon is nestled in the hundred valleys of the Umpqua near where the beautiful North and South Umpqua Rivers join. It is home to Douglas County's government, Umpqua Community College and a variety of activities and events. Population within the city limits ranges around 20,000 and Roseburg serves as the service center for a population of about 65,000.
