Mission
Improving patient outcomes in the war on cancer.

Kansas City Cancer Center is dedicated to one overarching goal – providing the highest quality care for cancer patients. Our approach to fighting cancer is based on our belief that patients do best when they receive care close to home, family and friends; when they have an entire team of medical specialists and support staff working together on their behalf; when they have access to the latest research, technologies, treatment programs and drug therapies; when their medical community supports cancer strategies, early detection initiatives and post-treatment programs and activities. We believe that to beat cancer, we must treat more than the disease itself. We must treat the whole person by being responsive to how cancer impacts all aspects of their lives. This is what we believe. And this is what we do.
People
Kansas City Cancer Center has ten Nurse Practitioners who partner with our physicians to provide you the best possible treatment and care. All of Kansas City Cancer Center's nurses are highly trained, most having advanced academic and clinical experience. In addition to their expert care, sensitivity and compassion throughout every phase of your treatment, our nursing staff provides patient counseling and education. Please do not hesitate to ask our nurses a question or express a concern. They want to know if something is causing you a problem or troubling you.
