Overview
John Knox Village was founded in 1970 and is a nondenominational, not-for-profit organization. Located in Lee’s Summit, Mo, the Village is more than a retirement community – it’s a neighborhood. The strong foundation upon which our great community was built consists of more than concrete, boards and nails. Its strength comes from the strong human connections among everyone who lives and works here. Everyday interactions often blossom into lasting friendships, making an impact in the lives of residents, associates and the Village as a whole.

As the Midwest's largest continuing care retirement community, John Knox Village is masterfully planned and developed on more than 400 acres. We have nearly 1,500 homes and more than 70 different floor plans from which to choose. John Knox Village also provides a full range of care for short- and long-term medical needs, such as assisted living, skilled nursing and hospice care. The Village is identified by the emphasis it places on providing high quality services and amenitites to its residents and other customers and the continuum of care it offers to enhance resident quality of life.

John Knox Village has developed a benefits and compensation package that can be tailored to help you balance your work and family life. Some benefits vary, depending on the type of position (full-time, part-time, or PRN) you hold at the Village. Here is an overview of all benefits the Village offers.
