Shure Incorporated

Overview
From our humble start as a radio parts wholesaler in 1925 through our current status as a global leader in audio electronics, Shure products have been everywhere and seen it all.
Career Opportunities
One of the world's leaders in wired and wireless microphones and professional audio systems, Shure was also the leader during the 17th Annual "Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina" (Lo Nuestro Latin Music Awards) at Miami's American Airlines Arena.

With only one exception, every wireless microphone system used during the 2006 show on Thursday, February 23, was one of Shure's new UHF-R systems. Two of the systems were coupled with the new KSM9 wireless microphone, and the rest were paired with Beta 58s. The event's host, Mexican comedian Eugenio Derbez, was no exception as he addressed the crowd with a wireless Beta 87 microphone.

James Stoffo, RF coordinator and consultant for the broadcast said, "Everyone loves the KSM9. I think you guys [Shure] have two winners: the RF system and the KSM9."

Many of the award winners were Shure endorsers, including Juanes, who took home two awards in the rock genre for Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

Providing a sizable 60 MHz bandwidth with no increase in interference thanks to Shure's proprietary Advanced Track Tuning filtering technology, UHF-R enables up to 108 compatible systems to be used simultaneously across multiple bands. Equipped with a bitmapped LCD display providing access and control to all integral system functions, the UR2 handheld transmitter features frequency and power lockout, and is available with a full line of venerable Shure capsules. The system can additionally be used with any Shure headworn, lavalier, or instrument mic, or a WA302 instrument cable when using the UHF-R UR1 bodypack transmitter.

Shure's new KSM9 is a reference-quality, wireless handheld microphone built expressly for vocals that offers the world of live performance studio quality sound and a pair of industry firsts: dual-diaphragm construction and switchable cardioid/supercardiod versatility. Excellent gain-before-feedback qualities collaborate with minimal proximity effect to give the KSM9 incredibly accurate low frequency response and crystal clear vocal performance. To greatly reduce handling noise, a two-stage shock mount stabilizes both horizontal and vertical movement.
