America First Credit Union was founded at Fort Douglas, Utah, on March 16, 1939. Beginning with 59 members and $25 in assets, America First has
grown into one of the United States most successful credit unions; the evolution has occurred with one, singular purpose: to improve the financial well-being of its members.
Throughout its history, America First has remained a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative financial institution that provides a full range of products and services designed to establish economic health in all of life's many stages.
With headquarters in Riverdale, Utah, America First is the state's largest credit union, and the 12th largest in the country, with over $4.4 billion in assets. It is also the fifth largest credit union in the nation in terms of membership. The credit union operates 80 branches many are inside grocery stores, delivering extended-hours service, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday along Utah's Wasatch Front, in St. George, and in Mesquite, Nevada.

- Annual and Sick Leave: 30-hr/40-hr employees begin accruing leave on the date of hire. Employees are eligible to use leave after completing their 90-day review period.

America First Credit Union Announces Management Changes
OGDEN, UTAH – America First Credit Union employee Janny Herron has been selected as the new manager of the Sandy Branch. Herron started her career at the credit union in 1985. Herron has served as the Assistant Branch Manager at the Sandy Branch, Cottonwood Branch, East Sandy Branch, and Metro Branch and most recently as the Manager at the Hope Avenue Wal-Mart Branch.
Jason Henrie has been named the new manager of the Hope Avenue Wal-Mart Branch. Jason began working at the credit union in 2003. His supervisor responsibilities began in 2005 as Lead Teller at the Hyrum Branch. Henrie then served as the Lead Teller at the Providence Macey?s Branch and most recently has been serving as the Assistant Manager.
