Our Services
PSA Healthcare 's services are designed to comprehensively address the full range
of home health care needs of pediatric patients, particularly the needs of
medically fragile children dependent upon sophisticated nursing care and
medical technology. Many pediatric patients suffer from complex medical
problems, most of which result from premature births or genetic abnormalities.
These medical problems include bronchopulmonary dysplasia, digestive and
absorptive diseases, cystic fibrosis and neurologically related respiratory
problems.
Patients suffering from these disorders typically require intensive and
specialized treatment over an extended period of time by many professionals
trained in neonatal and pediatric care. Substantially all of PSA Healthcare 's nurses have
received specialized training in neonatal and pediatric care and generally are
required to have had at least one year of prior experience in a neonatal
critical care unit. PSA Healthcare has developed case administration procedures that
enable it to efficiently manage all aspects of patient care by coordinating the
efforts of third-party payors, physicians, case managers and refereral sources.
All of PSA Healthcare 's services are designed to provide the highest quality care in the
patient's own home surrounded by their families and caregivers. PSA Healthcare offers it's
home health services through a network of over 50 branch offices across the
nation.
