Store Manager

Responsibilities:

  • manage, train, develop and lead a team of 4-6 coworkers
  • direct and inspect the daily execution of all of the store's programs and redirect as necessary
  • motivates and assists each coworker with daily planning to achieve store, company and individual goals and objectives
  • assist with the recruiting, interviewing and hiring process
  • ensure customer's files are setup and properly maintained
  • ensure the store meets its established monthly financial budget objectives through revenue attainment and expense control

Store Manager In Training

Responsibilities:

  • assist the store manager to manage, train, develop and lead a team of 4-6 coworkers

Responsibilities:

  • manage the store's sales and marketing program
  • ensure showroom floor is properly maintained to encourage sales
  • ensure the store meets it's regular sales goals
  • ensure customer's files are setup and maintained properly
  • qualify customers for product
  • perform regular sales calls
  • fully cross train on our credit program to ensure store meets its set goals when the credit manager is out of the store
  • successfully lead staff in daily operations of the store in the absence of the store manager
  • consistently seek and maintain knowledge of current products, pricing, sales promotions, policies and procedures
  • assist with managing the store's customer accounts
  • assist with creating and verifying rental contracts and educating customer on their contract
  • assist with training and developing the store's delivery experts and new employees
  • assist with managing store inventory
  • assist with ensuring company vehicles are safe for operation and repairs completed as needed
  • assist with refurbishing store merchandise
  • complete any other tasks assigned at the discretion of management

Retail Delivery Driver

Responsibilities:

  • timely delivery, setup and demonstration of products and merchandise to customer's homes
  • service calls to customer's homes as needed
  • operate company vehicle, tools and equipment in a professional and safe manner
  • safely unload new merchandise from trucks
  • ensure store and storage are are kept clean and in order
  • ensure delivery trucks are kept clean, in good operating condition and properly stocked, performing weekly inspections to confirm
  • refurbish products and merchandise
  • pickup customer returns as needed
  • responsible for maintaining, organizing, protecting and storage of products and merchandise
  • assist customers as needed
  • assist with creating rental contracts and educating customer on their contract
  • actively learn about company products and merchandise we offer to become a product knowledge expert
  • complete all other tasks assigned at the discretion of management


Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move furniture and appliances with the proper equipment and assistance.
  • Ability to work and perform in a fast paced retail environment.
  • Must be committed to working a 45-50 hour work week.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Trainable with good attitude.

Credit Manager

Responsibilities:

  • manage the store's contract renewal efforts including phone and field collections activity
  • ensure collection calls are properly documented and commitments are followed up on
  • ensure all past due accounts and files are properly maintained
  • consistently execute credit program by following company policies, procedures and legal guidelines while meeting daily credit goals
  • properly maintain, organize and protect company assets
  • fully cross train on our sales program to ensure store meets its regular sales goals when the sales manager is out of the store
  • successfully lead staff in daily operations of the store in the absence of the store manager
  • assist with managing the store's customer accounts
