Home Health Care

Amedisys home care services are provided by highly trained home health care professionals dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients. Amedisys home care agencies are Medicare certified. Home care services offered are:

Hospice Care
At some point in life, we will all be faced with how to handle a life-limiting illness. The best time to discuss this situation and the services that are available is before an illness strikes.
Hospice is a special form of care that is designed to provide comfort and support for those who are facing a life-limiting illness. It is a compassionate form of caring that promotes dignity and affirms quality of life for the patient, family members, and other loved-ones.
Who is eligible? Any individual with a terminal illness such as heart disease, pulmonary disease, dementia, Alzheimer's, HIV/AIDS, or cancer is considered eligible for hospice care.
Amedisys' specialized team of hospice professionals works with the patient, family members, and attending physician to develop a plan of care that will best meet the patient's individual needs. The hospice care team consists of:
