Publishing Division
Media General publishes 25 daily newspapers, including three metropolitan newspapers, The Tampa Tribune, the Richmond Times-Dispatch, and the Winston-Salem Journal; 22 daily community newspapers in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina; plus approximately 275 weekly newspapers and other targeted publications.

Media General currently owns and operates 20 network-affiliated broadcast television stations, including WFLA, the number-one rated station in Florida. Media General operates more than 75 online enterprises that are affiliated with the company’s newspapers and television stations. The company also owns DealTaker.com, an online coupons and shopping site; Blockdot, Inc., an advergaming and game development firm known for successful product innovation, and Boxerjam, a multimedia producer of interactive games and puzzles.
