WASHINGTON-WGL Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:WGL), the parent company of Washington Gas and other energy-related subsidiaries, has been named one of the 40 Best Companies for Diversity for the 4th consecutive year, according to Black Enterprise magazine. One thousand publicly traded companies and 50 leading global companies with major U.S. operations were invited to participate in the survey. The survey used four key areas: suppliers, senior management, workforce and corporate board diversity as measurements of each company’s diversity practices.

WGL Holdings has the distinction of being one of only two companies surveyed that demonstrated significant strengths in all four criteria for diversity measurement.
