Overview
SEE THE DIFFERENCE

If you’re the kind of person who strives to make a difference, you need a place to thrive. Don’t get buried in corporate culture. Join a team that worships your spirit, nurtures your ideas and accelerates your drive. Come to Quicken Loans and Rock Financial where the work is rewarding, the culture is everything but corporate, and the difference is larger than life.

Who we are
Quicken Loans is one of the largest full-service residential mortgage lenders in the United States. We’re America’s #1 Online Mortgage Lender, close loans in all 50 states and have more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Our local branch division, Rock Financial, is also Michigan’s largest mortgage company. In fact, we have more than 4,000 dedicated home loan experts on our team.

Why we’re different
Unlike other companies, for us “big” doesn’t mean boring. Meet the anti-corporate culture of Quicken Loans where there’s no daunting hierarchy, “boss” is a four-letter word, and if you work hard, you are the one who will reap the rewards. Rewards that are personal and professional. Because more than any other place you’ll work, we are dedicated to honing your skills, helping you grow as a person and making sure you have fun doing it. That might explain why we are consistently ranked near the top of FORTUNE Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For in America. We were also named Computerworld Magazine’s #1 place to work in IT three years running, as well as one of Michigan’s Cool Places to Work over and over by Crain’s Detroit Business.

Our Expectations
Want to make your mark? Then Quicken Loans could be for you. But this environment is not for everyone. After all, if making a difference were easy, everyone would do it, and at Quicken Loans it is not easy. We expect the same high-level performance from all of our team members. If you’re the type of person who is obsessed with finding a better way and believes in top-notch client service, you will be recognized and rewarded. At Quicken Loans, if you show us that you’re THE DIFF, then we’ll make the difference in your career.

Your Expectations
Here at Quicken Loans, we don’t just show you the coffee room and your list of clients and wish you good luck. We arm all of our team members with plenty of training, continuing education and an unwavering lifeline of support. Not to mention an in-house marketing team who is 100% dedicated to generating client interest in our products for our Mortgage Bankers. We empower you to make a difference, and to become THE DIFF.

Did you say rewards?
Yes, and there are many. Here, we believe in playing just as hard as we work. And we work very hard. So while the company coffee mug is great and all, we think you can do better. Your incentives will include trips, sporting events, tickets, parties, awards, promotions, bonuses, and more. Not to mention a broad selection of full benefit packages to fit all of your and your family’s needs. In fact, Quicken Loans is recognized as one of FORTUNE Magazine’s companies with “the most unusual perks”!

Enough talk. Are you ready to walk the walk? If you’re looking for a fast-paced career, come to Quicken Loans where you can make a difference and—like no other place you’ll work—we will make a difference for you.
Culture
We've created a company culture and environment that encourages people to take initiative and recognizes them for their accomplishments. We hire great people and give them the tools and resources they need to succeed and to take care of their families. We've created a fun atmosphere where people enjoy coming to work. Our structure is pretty flat and our company and team leaders are very friendly and approachable. Our success can be attributed to a culture that emphasizes communication across the board and in which everyone shares ownership of the goals. Quicken Loans also places a great emphasis on professional and personal development, with programs that include a personal empowerment coach, leadership training and tuition assistance for higher education. But while all agree these things contribute to a great work environment, team members cite the ability to make a difference as key to their job satisfaction. We also know it’s just as important to play hard as it is to work hard. Any team member will tell you that this company really takes care of its people. Some of the events we have build stronger teams and allow us all to enjoy the fruits of our labor. Here are just a few:
  • Team “Stress Buster” outings
  • Picnics and BBQs (we even had a Luau in the wintertime!)
  • Holiday parties
  • Baseball/Softball teams
  • Annual company meetings—a time for vision and focus
  • Annual Tammy Z Memorial Golf Outing
  • Internal contests and giveaways (teams can win trips to Vegas and other exciting places!)
  • Concert and sporting event ticket giveaways
  • Enjoy free popcorn and flavored slushies daily!
Benefits
Quicken Loans, Rock Financial and Title Source offer one of the most highly competitive benefits packages available. Our team members get medical, dental and vision coverage; 401k with 75% employer match, a flexible spending account, and more! We wouldn’t be named to Crain’s Detroit Business "Cool Places to Work" list if it weren’t for the company perks. From gym and Internet reimbursement and tuition assistance to referral bonuses to basketball tickets, barbecues, and a house band and so much more—there’s just no better place to be! We strongly value our team members and we feel that it’s important for them to be excited to come to work. So you could be attending an intensive mortgage banker training course one day and the next, you could be rocking out at a company meeting with our in-house band, The Loaners. Or you might be joining a pie-throwing contest at the company barbecue or receiving a Gilbert Award for a job well-done! There are just so many things going on here, it’s amazing!
Vision
The way we look at work, and at life, is what sets Quicken Loans apart from any other company.

We operate from a belief system that says you can always be better at what you do; that no matter what you focus on, you'll achieve. That if you believe it, you will see it.

Some companies have mission statements; we have a set of philosophies we call “Isms.” Our Isms help each of us conduct business in a way that benefits not only our clients, but also each other:

• Respecting each other and our clients
• Setting and reaching goals
• Staying positive
• Finding opportunities
• Taking initiative
• Putting ideas into action
• Responding with a sense of urgency
• Taking responsibility

Put them together and they constitute a way of thinking that works not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well.
