We have consistently produced solid financial results in both good times and bad, generating net revenues of $19.70 billion last fiscal year (ended August 31, 2007). And we have a history of driving innovation, spending approximately $250 million on research and development each year.

Culture
Through our employee reward system, Accenture offers a competitive Total Rewards program designed to help our employees reach their individual goals. The intent is to provide a competitive rewards package to all United States employees that motivates, retains and attracts the best and brightest people.
At Accenture, Total Rewards encompasses much more than just a paycheck -- it includes an array of compensation, benefits, and work/life and professional growth elements.
Benefits: we offer an array of options for medical, dental, disability and life insurance, along with future savings plans that includes a 401(k) Match and Savings Program and Discretionary Profit Sharing Plan.
Compensation: in addition to base salary, some Accenture employees are eligible for a variable pay component, as well as equity compensation.
Work/Life and Professional Development: Accenture offers a full spectrum of services focused on helping employees manage their professional success and personal responsibilities. In addition to the $750 million we spend on training and professional development each year, we offer a highly-competitive Paid Time Off program, flexible work arrangements, life assistance programs, and discounts on consumer products, to name a few.
Work/Life Balance
We know how important workplace flexibility is for our employees to strike a balance between their work and personal lives. With the convenience of laptops, wireless phones, Internet access to e-mail and technological innovations, and Accenture’s serious commitment to flexibility in the workplace, we can offer our people a flexible approach—giving them options as to how and where they do their work.
Here are some of the various flexible work arrangements we offer our people:
A flextime schedule allows people to vary their start and finish times around pre-determined "core hours,” or enables an employee to work his/her standard hours in fewer than five days by varying the length of each workday.
A part-time arrangement enables an employee to work less than a standard full-time schedule per week, by working fewer hours per day or fewer days per week.
A job-sharing arrangement usually involves dividing the workload of a full-time position between two people (usually each working a part-time schedule). Job-sharing is a great way for our people to keep on the career track while allowing them more time outside of work.
Telecommuting/home working enables an individual to work from a location other than an Accenture office or project site, reducing the time, costs and stress of commuting for the employee.
Flybacks for people working away from their home location, offering the option to fly someone to their project site or to fly to an alternate location in lieu of a trip home.
Client-site flexible work arrangements help meet the needs of consulting people traveling to client sites, while still meeting the needs of our clients. These arrangements may include full or extended weekends at home, or extended periods at the client location or home.
