Environment
We know that if you are currently searching for care and treatment for cancer you have many options in the Chicago area. Many of those options are good ones—but we believe we are special because we believe you are special. We promise that when you come through our door we will see you; not a chart, not a number, not just another patient. We will approach your care as a partnership between you and us. You can share any concern you have with us—ask us any question that's on your mind, no matter how small it may seem. We've set up many ways for you to reach us: you can call; send an E-mail; or speak with us in person. We would like to build a relationship with you, learn what's important in your life, and find out what your goals are. This will guide us in recommending the best therapy for you. That's not all. We can offer you more than 200 years of combined experience. We've trained at world-renowned cancer centers across the United States and have treated all types of cancer with the highest standards of care. By treating every major type of cancer, we've had the opportunity to learn more about a wide range of therapies. We would like to share our insights and what we've learned with you. You can also take comfort in the fact that that we are a well-established group. Dr. Steve Schwartz founded
HOA Illinois
in 1965 and stayed with the organization until his retirement in the early 80s. Each of us is dedicated to our patients and is committed to our group with our unique patient-focused philosophy. We are affiliated with Northwestern University and are currently conducting trials in cooperation with US Oncology and Northwestern University. We make it a point to participate in nationally recognized clinical trials so that we can continue to explore cutting-edge therapies and pass along what we learn to you. On a final note, all of our facilities offer laboratory services. This helps us to ensure that you receive your test results in a timely manner. Our Melrose Park location also provides radiation therapy in addition to our other services.
