Overview
History
ComDoc was founded on October 15, 1955 in Akron, Ohio as a business equipment sales/service organization. The company has grown rapidly from its original four employees and 1200 square foot office/warehouse to today with over 600 employees and 10 branch office locations throughout four states. Financially sound, with sales of over $100 million and a history of success in achieving the challenging goals we set for ourselves, today ComDoc has grown to be one of the largest office equipment dealers in the U.S.

We have been recognized as one of the best places to work in northeast Ohio as a recipient of the NorthCoast 99 Award, and also received a special award for our community service. Business First magazine in Columbus, Ohio recognized ComDoc as one of the best places to work in Columbus in 2005 and again in 2006.

Products and Services
Our customers depend on us for digital office equipment (copiers, fax machines and network printers), including training, monitoring, and on-going support of their document operations, as well as outstanding service and supplies. We offer a full range of multi-function products, copiers, printers and fax machines.

We work with our customers to create the best paper and digital data environment for their business. Or, as we like to say, we create end-to-end document solutions. We consult with business decision-makers to understand their business goals and challenges, and then recommend a solution that may incorporate equipment, software, on-going support, or a combination of each. We then act as a business partner who monitors the solution over the lifetime of the relationship.

Our Information Works subsidiary helps customers accurately measure and control costs on their network and desktop printers. With Information Works, companies pay only for actual print usage on one inclusive invoice per month. Customers can maximize savings on all consumables and services by combining equipment with a large pool of resources; and receive best cost, high quality, high yield toner cartridges insuring minimum toner cost per page.

ComDoc has continued to add products and expand its core competencies as we see technological advancements in the information and document industries. Today ComDoc provides document solutions, consulting, designing, implementing, managing and monitoring document distribution strategies to help customers maximize the information or intelligence of their businesses.

ComDoc offers great entry level sales positions for college grads, as well as paid internship programs for Junior and Senior level students that will provide valuable work experience, and enhance critical business skills.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Our sales internships provide a 60-90 day structured program, working through and in conjunction with universities in our market areas. This paid internship program targets junior or senior level college students who are working toward sales as a future profession.
