Since 1887, CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital has been serving the health care needs of Houston. Our mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.

An early pioneer in modern medicine, CHRISTUS St. Joseph had Houston’s first x-ray machine, first infant incubator and one of the nation’s first mammography centers.

In the new millennium, we continue that tradition as a world–class teaching and research facility. Our services range from women’s care and cardiology to cancer treatment and orthopedics, and just about everything in between.

At the forefront of it all are teams of highly trained physicians and nurses. Our people serve with a deep and abiding dedication to a promise of prompt, courteous and compassionate patient care—the hallmark of CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital.
