AVALON CARPET TILE AND FLOORING ANNOUNCES CHARITABLE DONATIONS
Floor-Covering Retailer Has Collected Over $200,000 Since Program Inception
CHERRY HILL, NJ – February 28, 2007 – Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring, the eighth largest floor-covering retailer in the nation, is proud to announce its recent donation of nearly $86,000 through the company’s Workplace Giving Program to three national charities.
On Friday, February 16th, a check presentation and special ceremony were held at Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring’s Cherry Hill, NJ, location in support of the efforts made by the company and its employees. Representatives from the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and Make A Wish Foundation were on hand to accept the checks.
The Workplace Giving Program made donations in the amount of $18, 574.28, $38,754.86 and $28,610.86 to the above charities, respectively.
Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring’s Workplace Giving Program is a yearly endeavor that makes it possible to donate to charities, non-profit organizations and other service-oriented programs in hopes of giving to the community and raising awareness of civil responsibility.
