Job Description
Classification: Accountant - Staff
Compensation: $45,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
A $300 Million dollar company located in Columbia is searching for a Staff Accountant to join the accounting team. The person must be detail-oriented with the ability to work diligently under pressure of tight deadlines.
The Staff Accountant responsibilities will include:
1)Assisting with month-end closing process
2)Balance sheet account reconciliations
3)Income statement and balance sheet analysis
4)Assisting with Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll as needed
5)Financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP
Interested and qualified applicants will have the following:
1)1+ years of strong general ledger experience
2)Some exposure to consolidated accounting is a huge plus
3)Ability to work independently
