We currently have an opening for a dynamic individual to join our team as an IT Business Analyst located in Kannapolis, NC.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with end users to translate and refine business requirements into technical design specifications.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that delivered code meets technical design and quality specifications.
- Design, test, document, implement, and support enhancements and program changes within multiple RedPrairie Discrete Warehouse instances.
- Provide technical guidance and assistance to identify, isolate, and resolve production and maintenance issues as they arise.
- Serve as onsite technical resource for RedPrairie Discrete Warehouse implementations.
- Support other areas of logistics as needed to support a high-volume production environment.
- Ensure compliance to SOX requirements and software development standards and methodology
Requirements:
- 5 years experience in supporting Supply Chain business processes and systems for Distribution and Transportation in a production environment.
- BS in Information Technology, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering desired.
- Thorough understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
- Programming SQL
- Database skills: Oracle 10g and higher, sqlserver
- Operating systems: AIX, Windows
- Ability to organize and coordinate job related tasks while maintaining positive communication between internal departments and external groups.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with RedPrairie Discrete, TMS, and Labor systems
