Mechanical Designer/Engineer

Our client solves problems that require expertise in heat transfer and fluid flow, piping design, and specialty fabrication. Belcan is recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join their team in Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne/Pineville location)
Job Requirements
* BS Mechanical Engineering Technology or 4 yr equivalent
* Knowledge of heat transfer basics
* Knowledge of piping, understanding bills of material, and reading isometric drawings
* Experience with 3D Inventor (3 years minimum) or SolidWorks and Autocad 2D
* Ability to work under pressure/manage multiple tasks
* Detail oriented/low error rate
* Experience with checking/QC of drawings
* Experience directing/managing personnel a plus
