Quantum Staffing is currently accepting resumes for an experienced Technician for our client, a global leader in Heat Exchanger repair. Our client specializes in the design, manufacture and supplying of new equipment, as well as, providing replacement parts and service. The Macon GA Service Center refurbishes existing plate packs to like-new efficiency by chemically cleaning plates, testing plates for pinholes or cracks and by ensuring plates are properly regasketed before being returned.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for traveling to clients in all markets such as food and beverage, steel, automotive, pulp & paper, energy, HVAC throughout the Southeast Region (Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina & Florida).
- Regasket and install or repair heat plate exchanger packs onsite.
- Work in-house with our Macon Production Team
- General warehouse work, load and unload trucks.
- Operate sit-down forklift.
- Other duties as required
This is a temp to hire position.
The hours are 8am- 4:30pm, Monday thru Friday; however, overtime and some weekend work is required.
