Online Category Manager Description ettain group has an immediate need for an Online Category Manager in Mooresville, NC. This is a permanent position working with a Fortune 50 company. This position offers the chance to start a career with a highly successful retail corporation. The Online Category Manager (OCM) is responsible for implementing the strategic category direction for their assigned online categories. The OCM merchandises their online spaces based on seasonality, availability, and business trends. This person drives the decision making, strategies, and tactics for their online categories. They are also responsible for category taxonomy, seasonal on-site search needs, and promotional planning. The OCM tracks both offline and online sales to drive their decision making and plans for additional multi-channel events and promotions. The OCM is responsible to drive their sales plan and forecasting for their assigned categories, as well as the solutions to deal with missed sales targets. This person manages and drives the development of product demos, selectors, visualizers, and guiding selling tools by working with merchants, vendors and suppliers.
