Assistant Project Lead - Georgetown (6 mos)
Job Description
Analysts International is seeking strong candidates for a Quality Assurance Analyst position with our DIRECT client in Georgetown, KY. We have been a Tier One vendor to this client for over 11 years. This is a 6 month contract with some potential for extension. GREAT opportunity with a terrific client! We can offer competitive pay for selected candidate. The candidate will support the Project Manager(s) and will be responsible to grasp technical capabilities in support of the requirements, grasp defined business requirement, documentation of deliverables, preparing detailed status reports, overall project status with issues and accomplishments, and have experience preparing a resource plan and synchronizing it with the project plan. This person should be self driven with strong documentation and communication skills (written and verbal). This person should feel comfortable meeting with the IS Developers, Project Managers and Supervisors to understand their process in detail and excel in gathering information and documenting what was communicated with minimal direction. Strong interpersonal skills are a must, as this person will frequently be communicating with I/S management on project status. This person must be able to create KPIs and understand and create technical design documents with minimum direction. Requirements: Experience working with Information Systems to determine needs/requirements and developing and documenting business needs. Ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and prioritize tasks. Experience with project resource estimation, technology/process requirements, duration, costs and issues tracking. Ability to present and explain complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences. Extensive experience in managing project life cycle and reporting project status. Experiences in preparing solutions options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Ability to plan, organize and easily communicate project concerns at the appropriate level based on the audience. Ability to organize, develop, document, execute, and improve processes supporting department/section Key Performance Indicators, license monitoring, and SOX reporting. Self-motivated, drives to closure. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team in an ever-changing environment. Ability to plan, organize and review the work of technical personnel. Strong interpersonal skills is a must as this person will frequently be communicating with our business partners Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Additional Qualifications: (if needed) 1 to 3 years' experience managing development project using each of the following:
.NET framework (3.0 and later) and related technologies. Visual Studio 2008 or later. Webservices & Windows Services Javascript SQL Server 2008 Experience documenting project Requirements, Design, Test Cases, & Support material in MS Office (Visio, Excel).
