Our client, a successful biotechnology company, is looking for an in Vivo Research Associate to join their team. Position Responsibilities: To perform pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamic studies; To administer therapeutic reagents to laboratory rodents though different routes including PO, IV, IP, IM. To provide pre- and post- surgery care, behavior observation and analysis of laboratory rodents. To perform blood/tissue samples collection, necropsy and sample preparation for analysis. To breed and genotype transgenic mouse colonies To prepare complete experimental records, summaries and technical reports. Routine animal housing and care. Requirements Bachelor s degree in a scientific discipline, with at least 1 year of laboratory in vivo study experience and demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles. Demonstrated experience with laboratory rodents care and handling. Must be able to handle laboratory rats. Strong techniques of dosing small animals by different routes like PO, IP, IV, IM are desirable. Must be attentive to details and enthusiastic for laboratory work Be able to work both independently and in a team environment with flexibility in adapting to change. Skills in general computer software like MS office.
