 Description Burris Logistics headquartered in Milford, Delaware operates a network of frozen food warehousing and distribution systems in the eastern United States. PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: To safely provide on-time, accurately counted, customer-oriented deliveries to Burris Logistics customers supported by complete and accurate paperwork requirements as mandated by DOT regulations and Burris Logistics.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Safe and courteous operation of equipment.
•Accuracy and accounting of all freight delivered and/or picked up.
•Adherence and successful execution of all paperwork with special emphasis on billing-related and DOT hours of service requirements.
•Recognition and daily involvement in ?The Customer is King? principle.
•Routine communication with dispatch after each stop and for any and all exceptions.
•Must be able to meet the Physical Demands and Working Conditions and Environment listed below.
•Timely and regular attendance is required.
•Must be able to interact courteously and tactfully with managers, co-workers, customers and/or vendors in a way that positively affects production and morale.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Consistently maintain a cooperative and productive level of performance.
•Maintain a neat, clean and uniformed appearance to our customers and the public.
•Any and all duties that many be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
•CDL Class A License.
•Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and compliance with same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•Load/off-load product in excess of 3,000 cases weighing an average of 15 lbs.
•Lifting excess of 50 lbs occasionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:
•Occasional exposure to temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit during loading/unloading of product.
