 Description

There is a current urgent need for a Quality Assurance specialist with extensive experience working in laboratories that analyze and test water and soil to join a stable organization on a full-time basis.  This is a terrific opportunity offering a great benefits package, generous bonus plan and other outstanding perks.

 

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration

 

Job Description:

  • Responsible for taking a leadership role in performing all aspects of establishing and maintaining quality systems, Validations, compliance and training for EPA, NELAC and DoD regulations.
  • Development and maintenance of processes and procedures for the Quality System
  • Internal and external audits, writing and reviewing Quality Control plan, and SOPs.
  • Manages proficiency testing (PT) studies and performs internal audits.
 Requirements

Please DO NOT APPLY unless you have extensive experience in Quality for NELAC, and EPA regulated laboratories and hold a

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in NELAC and EPA regulated laboratories with a through understanding of Quality Management principles, tools and practices.
  • Minimum 3 years management experience in Quality and/or Operations with an environmental laboratory.
  • Working in a laboratory that analyses or tests water and soil.
  • Familiarity with Wet Chemistry, GC/MS, ICP and AA instrumentation.
