 Description

 

 

Our customer needs a contract electrical/electronics engineer to develop Functional Test equipment hardware, software and documentation for use in the testing of manufactured products.

Essential Activity
1. Create detailed schematics using AutoCAD Electrical 2013 for production test equipment.
2. Procure parts using SAP for production test equipment.
3. Write test procedures and specifications for production test equipment.
4. Understand PLC software for controlling production test equipment.
5. Confer with others involved to obtain objectives and desired results.
6. Build and wire test systems per schematics.
7. Perform integration of test hardware and test software with product under test.
8. Provide training and on-going support of the test equipment and methods.
9. Support all Rockwell Automation Quality polices and all TQCS procedures.
10. Proficiency in communication of technical and business ideas through engineering drawings and written and spoken English.
11. Projects require self-direction and ability to adjust to changes in priority and scope. A dynamic team oriented organization, which demands a sense of urgency, customer focus, and process improvement. 
 

 

 

 

 Requirements
Education and Experience
1. Associate or Bachelor’s degree in electronics or electrical engineering.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in test system design for solid state products.
3. Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD Electrical 2013 for panel layout/schematics.
4. Demonstrated ability in development and troubleshooting of automated test systems.
5. Familiarity with RSLogix 5000, Programmable Logic Controllers, AC/DC Drive Experience and AutoCAD Electrical
