A multi-state transportation and delivery company is accepting resumes for the position of Operations Assistant. This position is based out of our Bakersfield facility. This position assists the Facility Operations Manager with the day-to-day shift activities in the facility by implementing policies, goals, and objectives established by senior management.
1. Provides administrative and operational assistance to the facility managers.
2. Perform the daily office functions to ensure timely completion of the administrative/operational responsibilities.
4. Prepare multiple business transaction/efficiency-related operational analysis reports on a daily basis.

Prior experience in the transportation and delivery industry preferred. Prior experience working in administration preferred. Must be able to operate common office equipment including fax machines, PCs, and telephone systems. Ability to communicate and interface effectively with many types of people. MS office experience with 50 wpm typing skills preferred. Able to successfully clear Pre-employment background check and screenings. Punctual, reliable transportation, self-motivated, and capable of completing tasks without supervision. Must read/write/ speak English; Spanish speaking a plus.
